How Apex Glow Rings Work
Safe, rechargeable luminescence
Our luminescent composite is made in the United States using strontium aluminate glow crystals and hypoallergenic epoxy. The same type of glow material is used in watch dials, ceiling stars and emergency lighting.
How to charge your ring
Direct sunlight charges the ring in seconds; approximately 30 seconds provides a strong charge. A UV light or bright LED light also works. The ring can be recharged repeatedly for decades.
Brightness and duration by color
- Green: brightest, up to 10 hours
- Aqua: up to 8 hours
- Blue: up to 6 hours
- Purple: approximately 3–4 hours
- White: up to 2 hours
- Orange, red and magenta: approximately 45–60 minutes
Actual visibility depends on the strength of the charge and darkness of the environment.
